Mark & Jamie Steury
"My wife and I serve as missionaries in Zambia, combining practical care with the message of the Gospel. We are involved in preaching and teaching, seeing people come to faith, baptizing new believers, and praying personally with individuals and families. Alongside this, we support education and medical outreach, working closely with local communities to meet physical needs while pointing people to Jesus. Our heart is discipleship -Matthew 28:19- walking with people as lives are transformed spiritually, emotionally, and physically!"
PRAYER
Everyday on the mission field here in Zambia, we face trials and obstacles of many kind. To keep worry at bay, my wife and I thank God continually for his blessings and provision in our lives/ministry! Like Peter kept his eyes on Jesus and was able to walk on water, we keep our focus on Him. When we do that, the ‘wind and the waves’ become background noise. This verse also helps us to petition for those who may not know Jesus. We aim to be the friends that lower them down in prayer to the feet of Jesus, asking on their behalf for healing- both physically and spiritually.
Medical Ministry
Helping others with the talents God has given you is what Mark and his wife do every day. Mark through helping in the hospitals and clinics and his wife Jamie with schools and acedemics. Here Mark assists in surgeries, screenings, aid, as well as helping open new clinics and obtaining medical equipment to be used for the betterment of the people of Zambia, among other things.
BAPTISM
Mark works with other people in ministry to spread the gospel and fullfill the command of making disciples. Here he is handing bibles out to newly baptized young men, purchased with donations.
