Prayer

What is it?
Simply put, prayer is talking to God
How do you do it?
Jesus gives us an example of how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. He starts with acknowledging God and praise. He moves on to display humility recognizing Gods authority by saying Gods will be done. Then he makes a request. Jesus again shows communication with God (prayer) in different parts of the four first books of the new testament of the holy bible.
Why do we pray?
It can be for any reason. Don't be afraid to speak to God. Even if you don't feel like you don't know what to say or how you should say it. God wants to hear from you. We look to the bible and throughout it shows it can be for praise, forgiveness, blessings, thanks, requests of miracles, expressions of frustration; and a part of any conversation, is listening.
